Whenever I am at the Veterinary Clinic, in a store, at Petsense or anywhere wearing a Morristown Hamblen Humane Society shirt, people will talk to me.  So many people tell me they would like to help the animals, but it just makes them sad to upset to come to the shelter and see all the homeless animals.

So here is a solution.  Are you a member of the MHHS?  If not, think about becoming a member of your community shelter and help the animals by being their voice through your member support.

Also, a membership to the MHHS is a way to give a thoughtful gift to a pet lover on your list at the holidays.  It truly is the gift that keeps on giving!

Along the same line of thought, the MHHS is always in NEED of volunteers for offsite events.  Our events give us the opportunity to let the community know of the important role the MHHS plays in Morristown and Hamblen County.  We also have cats for adoption at Petsense.  We depend on Volunteers to clean them each day, Monday through Friday between 8 and 9 am.

So, if you want to help support YOUR community Animal Shelter,  become a member of the MHHS and consider being a Volunteer.  The unconditional love you will receive from the animals makes volunteering worthwhile!
