We have had a few of our past adopted animals returned to us these past couple months. With Christmas coming up everyone is looking at the cute, fluffy puppies and kittens and over looking the adults. We are going to give this spotlight to Miss Abbey.
She is a spayed, 3 year Rhodesian Ridgeback Mix. She was a stray who was brought in January of 2017 as a very nervous and timid girl. She would always stay in the back of her kennel. After 2 weeks of staying with us in 2017 she found what we thought was her furever home. Almost 2 years later, now October of 2018 Abbey found herself back with us for showing fearsome behavior towards people. Without understanding the behavior we were told she was being aggressive towards them. This is not true, but she is back to her old self of hiding in the back of her kennel and screams when we get her out for walks. We are hoping that Miss Abbey can find that one family, possibly older with mature kids or none. She is such a sweet girl who deserves true love and care. IF you are looking for an adult please come and visit Abbey. We are open from 11a to 5p Monday through Friday and 11a to 4p on Saturdays.
