Dear Friends,

There’s no other way to say it — MHHS supporters have had a massive impact on saving lives this past year!

From our Emergency Medical Fund, to our regular animal fund, to our Community Resources Program, we’re going farther and doing more than we ever have before. We’re adopting out animals, feeding families, saving lives, and truly making a difference for pets and pet families here in our backyard and all across the country. And all of it is made possible because of your generous support! As an entirely gift-based not-for-profit we couldn’t do any of this without you!

We’re here at the shelter caring for our furry friends because you help us be here. We’re out in the community providing education and community resources because you make that happen. We were able to put 632 little ones into loving homes in 2023 because of you.

And even more? Your support saves lives.

It’s because of your support that we’re able to save thousands of animals and have a 90% annual save rate. It’s because of your support that we were able to respond to 2 major cases of animal cruelty/neglect and rescue 27 pets from perilous conditions. You allow us to fight every day for pets in need.

Thank you to each and every one of our supporters who made this past year an unbelievable year for shelter pets. And as we look forward at what is to come, remember that your continued support is what allows us to change the lives of some pretty amazing shelter pets!
